I get so many great ideas from my blogging friends and I would like to share some of them with you.

From Megan atThe Homes I Have Made is the best menu organizer I have seen.  You will never have to wonder what's for dinner again if you use this method. Thank you Megan.

I also love the ideas from  Delightful Distractions  Amy has a number of  great ideas and I especially like the tickets.  She has Love coupons and Obey Parents coupons that the kids earn.  We will use them this summer to earn Summer Fun Days.  Noah has ADHD and needs a little challenge to keep him on track.

Larissa at Another Day in Paradise has a wonderful ransom box idea.  If your kids leave little piles of toys around as they go from one idea to another you might like the ransom box.  Mom goes around gathering up toys that are not put away and the little ones must earn them back by doing extra chores.  Sounds good to me.

There are so many great ideas to help you get organized this summer.  The kids and I sat down one day and went over our summer fun  list. We can't wait until our first trip to the Farmer's Market.
That evening we will have cabbage soup with all fresh ingredients.  It is a family favorite.

Cabbage soup

6 large green onions
2 green peppers (red and yellow are good also)
1-2 cans diced or whole tomatoes
3 carrots
1 bunch of celery
1/2 head of cabbage
1 package of Lipton Onion Soup Mix
1-2 cubs of bouillon
48 oz. of V8 juice
Season to taste with salt, pepper, parsley, curry, and garlic powder.

Slice the green onions and saute with cooking spray.
Cut peppers and cabbage into bite size pieces and add to the pot.
Add the tomatoes, chopped carrots and celery.
Add curry or cayenne now.
Dissolve  the beef bouillon in a cup of water and add it with the V8 juice.
Cover and cook two hours.
Sometimes we toss in some sausage but it is delicious either way.

We serve ours with fresh bead and a salad.  Yum.
