Happy New Year!

As this year comes to a close I look back on the past year with joy.  We have our health, The kids are doing well in school, Noah is on the honor roll for the first time.  Ryan and Maria are both happy with their jobs and love being home owners.

We just celebrated our third Christmas here in Maryland.  Where did the time go?  I love living here where we actually have changing seasons and farm life is close at hand.  The back roads have Amish buggies and farms where we buy fresh produce and cheese.  Corn grows everywhere and is so sweet I can't get enough of it when it s in season.

We are almost surrounded by water.  We have the Potomac to the west, the Patuxent to the east and the Chesapeake to the south.North is Washington DC, Annapolis and beyond.  Because of the water, as a rule, it is pretty mild here.  Thank goodness because as a Californian I was a weather wimp and didn't know it.

New year's resolution:  Read the Bible through.  I have done this before and it is time for me to do it again.  Thanks for the inspiration T.P.
