No June Gloom today! The sun came out to make my birthday special.. The kids and I went to Heritage Park today for a couple of hours. They had a great time and I got some super pictures. It sure is a nice park based upon Paul Revere's ride and old Boston. Lots of things for the kids to climb one, hide in, and explore. The pond was full of red-eared slider turtles, ducks with their babies, an egret, and fish galore. They have a small replica of the old north church and Boston Common. There is a ship docked that the kids can play on, cannons to pretend with and boy do the kids love it there.
After leaving Heritage Park we went to our local San Martin Park which is down the street from our house. They were sitting up a slip and slide for the kids and Trinity and Noah wanted to go have some fun.
The day was perfect. Ryan took us out to dinner to celebrate my birthday this evening. Tomorrow is the first day of summer. Bring it on!
