Where is the sun?

I have lived in Southern California since 1963 and should be use to June by now.  The days begin with overcast skies and remains that way until noon then the sun begins to burn through and it turns into a nice day.  We call it June gloom and it sure is an apt description.  It is caused by the ocean being so near, some days it never clears .  The months of July, August, and September  are always beautiful and can be very hot.

The house is very quiet when they are with Tim.  As much as I adore my grandchildren I need the time to re-energize.  They started karate Thursday night, what fun that was.  Neither of them are very coordinated so we tried very hard not to  laugh out loud.  Good thing they stand with their backs to us facing their sense.
