Valentine's Day

My dear hubby and I have been married fifty, yes FIFTY years.  And I do not know where the time went.  There have been good times and bad but we stayed the course.  Some times as we walk in front of a window I will catch a glimpse of the old couple and wonder who they are.  Funny, I don't feel old.  It could be because we had Maria in our mid thirties and she had the first of her two in her mid 20's and the babies kept us feeling younger than we were.  Any way we are still going strong, thank the Lord.  

I found a wonderful site called Pinterest and get a ton of good ideas from the women who post there.  If you have never heard of it you must give it a try.  But beware you may get as hooked as I am.  Here are two of the beautiful pictures of birds that I found.  Have fun.

My granddaughter who is eight years old loves to cook.  I mean I have never seen anything like it.  She has helped off and on in the kitchen but this last week she has begged to cook dinner.  We are starting off easy with comfort meals tonight was pan cooked pork chops, cheddar potatoes, corn muffins, and sliced tomatoes. Easy Breezy for now.
